This wiki is designed to help residents of Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter Counties learn about and access numerous services available to help them maintain their independence and improve their lives. The site is currently under development with updates made weekly. It is managed by Penn State Cooperative Extension Educator, Robin Kuleck, who is housed in the Elk County Courthouse, Ridgway PA. VITA Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Volunteers are needed in Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter counties to assist families earning $42,000 and less prepare and electronically file their 2008 Federal and State Income Taxes. This also provides an opportunity to educate individuals on ways to improve their personal financial management skills. If you have an interest in tax preparation and are fairly computer literate, we sure could use your talents. Watch here for more information.
